The wife and I just got out of Fury.
YYYYYYYAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNN. I didn’t expect much since the film is jammed packed with mediocre actors.
Honestly, American made war films bore me to DEATH. The last good American made war film was “Saving Private Ryan.” What made it good? Not just the action, but the actors. I don’t care how many head shots and flaming bodies are present, if the actors suck, then the film will suck. Fury sucks hard. Hell, I just saw a guy’s head explode and do you know what my wife’s response was? “Can you pass me your bottled water.” Yep. No twitch. No flinch. Nada. Neither one of us gave a shit.
Hollyweird has produced some awesome war flicks when dealing with Vietnam, such as Platoon, Hamburger Hill, The Deer Hunter, Full Metal Jacket, etc…
If you want to see a line up of good WWII films, here’s my recommendation: El Alamein, The Line of Fire Days of Glory Stalingrad (1993) Brest Fortress ALL TOP NOTCH WWII Flicks and they’re all foreign films.
So there you have it. Fury SUCKS HARD.
