How shall this day end? Good question, Gandalf, hopefully it will end with one very spectacular smile on everyone’s face.
The final installment in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy revealed its last trailer prior to next month’s release. And it does live up to what Jackson has been leading up to, one epic battle for Middle-Earth. If you thought the Battle of Helm’s Deep was something, from the looks of this we can all hope for a 3 hour battle royale.
The Battle of the Five Armies stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry, Cate Blanchett, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Orlando Bloom, Billy Connolly, Sylvester McCoy and Aidan Turner.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opens December 17.
